How to fix OVER HEATING THERMAL Throttle issue in any gaming laptop - WITHOUT THERMAL PASTE

Steps to fix OVER HEATING THERMAL Throttle issue in any gaming laptop

( WITHOUT THERMAL PASTE or ANY SOFTWARE )

Lot of people Even myself who has a gaming laptop is facing the thermal throttle issue otherwise known as CPU heating issue. Lots of people claim that this issue is due to the poor thermal pasting in the CPU actually it's 50 to 60 percentage it is true. But not always its true because I got a new Alienware laptop which had this issue. I was actually kind of disappointed I thought that I got Manufacturing defect piece.

And yeah Alienware has done some mistake in thermal pasting and you know this is a very costly laptop and I don't want it to damage it by opening at as soon as I got it so I did some tricks and after a long search I found a solution which I wanted to share with you guys.

Okay so without wasting any time let's go into the solution

Step one : Go to the Control panel in the windows 10 operating system

CONTROL PANEL - WINDOWS 10

Step two : Search for "Power Options" in Search and select it

Step three : Then Select "Change the plan settings" of your selected power plan. In my case I have only one plan which is balanced so I will select the "Change plan settings" for that

You can check the results in the Application like MSI Afterburner.

Bonus Step :
If you're not satisfied with your temperature drop even after the above changes. Then I will give you bonus Tip. You can further reduce your laptop's temperature by limiting your FPS to 40. The gameplay looks like a 60 FPS which will also further improve your laptop performance and also reduce the heat of the laptop. Most of the games provide FPS Limiter inbuilt. If you can't find the settings, then you can limit the FPS by software like Bandicam.

In Bandicam, this app has explicitly an option that limits the FPS. You can find the option as I have shown in the screenshot below. ("Set FPS Limit to"→ 40)

bandicam - FPS limit 40
